Marine League of Schools
Skagit Valley College has joined the Marine League of Schools and will be the only school in the state of Washington to offer American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) certified training. Currently, there are eight possible certifications through ABYC:
- Composite boat builder certification
- Diesel engine & support systems certification
- Gasoline engine & support systems certification
- Electrical certification
- Marine corrosion certification
- Refrigeration and A/C certification
- Marine systems certification
- ABYC standards certification
