Training and Education For Today and Tomorrow

The Northwest Center of Excellence for Marine Manufacturing Technology is currently developing a training program curriculum of certificates in industry-driven subjects. These specialized certificate programs offer today's Marine Manufacturing worker a variety of ways to enhance his or her value on the job.

Lifelong Learning and Skill Enhancement

The Center's partnering schools help keep the Puget Sound Region's Marine Manufacturing & Technology workforce current through student-paced trainings that benefit incumbent (current) workers. Industry-Education partnerships at each of these schools ensure the competency and compatibility of the Marine Manufacturing & Technology course content to meet short and long-term workforce needs. Educators at these schools also offer an active recruiting resource to assist regional Employers in locating and hiring trained employees as they complete their studies.

How Educators Can Help

The Center focuses on the importance new students and parents place on opportunities to succeed in college and to obtain good jobs after graduation.

Educators in each Center of Excellence school partner with specific Employers to help Marine Manufacturing & Technology training program students establish Internships where they gain first-hand experience inside companies – an invaluable asset as students enter the job market after completing their studies.

Contact The Center of Excellence to learn how you can benefit from these Marine Manufacturing & Technology Industry-Education school partnerships.
